Question: Why is the G3 used for on a Nook or Kindle?

Answer #1:

You have 2 choices:

1. Wifi ONLY
2. Wifi + 3G

3G is a cellular network that mobile phones use to access the internet. This means you can access the internet and download books anywhere where you could get a cell-phone reception. If you just want to download the books at your house (which is what I do), then you get the WiFi model. Make sure YOU (using someone else's internet is ILLEGAL) have a wireless internet connection though. Otherwise, you won't be able to connect!
