Extreme Internet Addiction :-( .....?

I have extreme internet addiction that I used to be online 24/7 browsing useless youtube videos, watching p0rn or checking my facebook and myspace account all time,watching movies and it even get's worse as time goes on... I dunno what to do and my grades are dropping like hell ! and don't even care about my school and academic work.

My computer is next to my room and as soon as start studying I become bored in just 10 mins of study and will open the internet to browse some useless things.It's really worse when something hit's your life so hard and for me it's like smoking weed (so hard to quit computer addiction!).I browse internet for an average 5hrs/day and 8-9hrs on weekends:-

* I seldom go outside
* I like to be home browsing internet all time :-((
* My mom used to yell @ me a lot
* Grades has been dropping a lot since my school started
* No physical activities

When In the net I browse youtube videos,watch online movies,surf through blogs,check my facebook & myspace pages or even addicted to Yahoo answers!. It's really annoying and sad to tell like this.

Can anyone gimme some solid ideas to get rid of my extreme internet addiction. I dunno why am i like this but I can't.So freaking addictive. I'll give 10 points for the most detailed and useful answer to stop my extreme Internet addiction.

How come i can't uninstall Internet Explorer?

I got Fire Fox yesterday and since people say Internet Explorer isn't a good browser i want it gone from my computer,but when i went to Control Panel> All Control Panel Items> Programs and Features ,and on my computer that's the list to uninstall programs,but i cant find internet explorer in the list =/
i look at the entire list like 3 times. is it because it came with my computer? i have windows 7,Acer Aspire One,by the way.

okay... so... i had got a new step mom like 3 years ago right.... and i got 2 know and am close 2 every1 in the house .... except 4 2 and thats my step brother but that doesnt count becuz he s never home and a cousin ill call bob... bob does drug and drinks and smokes and does that from time 2 time... and im like.... i dont do that shit nor do i associate myself with any of the friends that he talks to... im nothin like him... im like the total opposite and every1 in the house talks shit 2 other people saying y we dont talk and purposely bame me 4 y we dont talk... i have no control over that... and its really pissing me off how im 2 blame when i have no fuckin control over it... they say how i just stay in the room which i dont see the problem with because yes i stay in my room... i keep myself occupied and do fun things on the computer like facebook and i play xbox and i hang out with my friends as much as possible... i hate when they pick at what i do with my life... its my life... if u got a problem dont be in it... anway they blame me 4 me and my cousin not talkin which is unfair... what u think.... im 16.... hes 17

whats wrong with my gaming computer?

I have a computer here are the specs

AMD Athlon x4 2.9ghz

Geforce 9800 GT 1gb

6Gb DDR3 ram

450 Watt Power Supply

I custom installed the power supply and the graphics card.

Whenever I play games like Garrys mod or Medieval 2 total war I try maxing out everything and it lags real bad like I got 6 fps once with medieval. I should be able to run these games smoothly but they arent. What could be wrong.

Also my graphics card came with a very small cable that I couldnt find it to fit in any of the sockets in my computer so I didnt plug it in. Could this be the problem?

what kind of wire do I need?

So I got a digital camera that I've had now for 5 years. I could not find the cord that would connect the camera to the computer. So to get my pics developed I would got to a Black's location where they would make the prints for me. So I figure I should learn to edit my own pics on my laptop. Recently, I purchased a firewire, but when I brought it home I found out that the cord would not fit into the camera. What cord then do I need to connect my computer to the camera?
P.S my camera is an olympus fe-115 and my laptop is hp 2009 model.

PC games lagging alot?

Hey, I have like 2 PC games and their pretty fun but near impossible to play because every few seconds, the game will lag, or freeze, or whatever you want to call it, for a second or two. I don't have the best computer, its a laptop with 3 GB of memory and 80 GB on the hardrive (with about 20.5 left) I have seen videos of of one particular game I have (Battlefield 2) and it looks as if its a game being played on a regular system, like an XBox, that's how smooth id like mine to be... So what can I do? I was just recently bar mitzvah'd so my dad wanted to know if I would just rather get a regular desktop computer. But there are things I would rather get if it isn't necessary, so can the lag be fixed on my laptop? Or would it be smarter to just invest in a full-out desktop?

When I come back from school I am energized after cross country. Then I have to do homework, which most of the time requires the computer - for essays and typing up my homework for English or European History. I notice that whenever I'm on the computer, I get extremely tired and I sometimes crash in front of the computer and I would sleep for about 30 minutes right there. So:

i need to get the music off my first generation ipod touch?

i have a first generation ipod touch and i have a laptop with vista. i installed the new itunes 10.0 and when i got to plug in my ipod a screen comes up that says it cant read the contents of my ipod and i must restore it, i have music on my ipod that isnt on my computer so i can't restore it. i researched ways to get music off. i do not want to download a program and i tried going into control panel to change my folder settings so hidden files are shown, the music still does not show up. i click on "my computer" and my ipod shows up as a digital camera, i open it and there is a folder called "internal storage" i open that and there is a folder called "DCIM" i open that and there is 2 folders, "100APPLE" and "999APPLE". "100APPLE" contains my picture on my ipod and "999APPLE" contains nothing. can someone please help me? ): i have over 1,000 on my ipod that i do not want to download again.

Help deleting spyware from AVG free anti-virus software?

I ran a scan through my AVG 8.5 free anti-virus software last night and it found 4 spyware viruses. i tried to delete them but i got this message: Moved object is bigger than the archived size limit. E:\Store Here\Tools\BartPE\UBCD\UBCD4WinV26.exe. With the option to either 'go to file' or 'ignore'.

It says that it is a Potentially Harmful Program HackTool.EAV (3 0f these files) and a Potentially Harmful Program HackTool.EDF.

I would really like to get these off my computer safely as I use ebay and PayPal.

I automatically thought that me wanted to break up so I started crying and getting all upset so my sister left him a mean message saying how stupid he is for breaking up with me over nothing, and then an hour later I get a message from him saying that he didn't break up with me and why I had to tell my entire family that he did. Then he says that he meant to say that he thought that we were moving to fast, and then I told him that he was the one pressuring me to do all those things so he can't really blame it on me! So when I thought everything would go back to normal I asked him if we were still together just to make sure and he said "Honestly I don't really know right now, I need to think, I'm not ready for a girlfriend I'm only 17 and I got my whole life ahead of me to find a girl, same with you for a guy" Hearing that literally devistated me, and I have no clue what to do! I even told him if you dont want a girlfriend then I guess we shouldn't be together anymore! But he said that he still wants to be together but he isn't sure if he wants a girlfriend! What should I do dump him or give him another chance?

Spilled soda on laptop, it works fine but now shuts itself down.?

Last night I had a major pepsi spill accident on my Dell Insprion 1525. I cleaned out the laptop, and but the hair dryer on cold air. I turned it on and was sure that it was fried, but over the time span on ~30 mins it turned on fine. The keyboard broke, but luckily I had a spare.
So, the soda went on the keyboard and under the computer, also. I've always had overheating problems, but now my laptop will run fine for about 20mins to an hour, then it'll shut itself down in the middle of whatever i'm doing, sometimes even if it's not hot.
The vents are clear, there's nothing blocking the air flow or anything. The laptop get warm, but never hot hot.
Help!
oh, the operating system is vista, btw.
maybe it's the soda making the fan sticky? if so, how would i clean that?

My mom and step dad are away for the holiday week and my 24 year old step brother is in charge. I'm 16. Today I was on my computer messaging on facebook when he walked in the room and started yelling at me because I'm "too young to have a facebook."

Reinstalling Windows Vista...big mistake?

I own a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop with Windows Vista. My brother somehow got a virus on it and I asked my friend who knows a lot about computers to come over and help. He tried just about everything and the last resort was to wipe everything on my computer including Windows Vista. We didn't think it would work until I found a reinstallation CD for Windows Vista home premium 32bit sp1 that came with my laptop. So we wiped my computer and reinstalled Vista.

I noticed when I logged on that everything looked bigger like in safe mode and I didn't have as much options as I did with Windows Vista. I tried to connect to the internet so I could reinstall programs but couldn't do it. I've tried everything and looked at my wireless router 5374879042 times!!!! No luck. I was up all night with my friend trying to figure something out and nothing worked... I looked at the cd one more time and noticed in small print it said that this was not used to reinstall programs or drivers. Then I found out about "System Restore" and felt like a complete idiot....I tried to do that and it would only take me back to after we wiped everything (which I figured).

HELP!!!!!

Why is it that when i sign into my email i dont have to type in my password?

im sorta scared cuz basically on my computer they can just go to "sign in" click on my email name. I DONT EVEN HAVE TO TYPE THAT! and then the computer inputs my password. that mean basically anyone who logs in can just easily go to my email. how can i fix that !!??!!
